We're now rocking some cheap replacements. I have a $4 stainless band but I was looking for something like a billet aluminum or cromoly replacement when I stumbled on to this page of awesomeness.

Why would I think you're being an ass? It's a legitimate question.
I lost mine a couple winters ago it was tungsten carbide and didn't shrink as fast as my hand and it flew off my finger when I threw a snowball at a coworker. Luckily the ring did not hit them but I could never find it. She lost a lot of weight by exercising and eating better and it just fell off her while cleaning her car. It is probably still in our yard but covered with leaves and now man y (Happy 505?) inches of snow. I think we can find that one with a metal detector.

Yeah they go on sale all the time. I have wanted one for a while now but don't have the money or any reason to buy one.

To make it funnier she lost her engagement ring one night when we went out drinking and I bought her an exact replacement which she has also lost as it was soldered to her wedding ring.

I'm looking for the jorts of rings.

The sizing is scary S or M? That's not how rings work.

Oh ... that is how they work!

yeah the letters don't coordinate at all with small medium and large, but it also seems like people in the UK have tiny fingers. I need either a V or W size in their measurement system.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Just a thought . It does rotate, so you can literally spend hours twisting it on your finger as a thought provoking process.

Lost my ring in a slot canyon in Zion, wife was unhappy. Fortunately ebay Titanium rings are cheap and plentiful.

Dat Piston Ring.
Instead of resizing, you would have to 'restroke' it.

Oh Lord I'd never stop twisting it.

I almost lost my ring 3 times(fell in the snow but managed to find it) so now I no longer where it at all.
This is what I'll eventually get instead.

That's a solution I have been toying with. Hard to lose that one.

True story, if you get into an accident and your hand swells up they have to crush tungsten rings off your finger with the jaws of life in order to save your finger.

It is *possible* to lose even a tattoo ring... like when you're using a wood saw...

Just imagine if you're like me and you have some hair on your knuckles. That would hurt. But I'd probably still twist and fidget with it.
![]() 03/04/2015 at 13:52 |

It wouldn't always hurt because you'd just tear that hair out

I have one, it was a gift from my wife for Christmas. You'd be surprised at how much stuff DOESN'T get stuck in it. I wear it all the time, including shower, and I don't pull anything even when washing my hair.
It does "sit thickly" on the finger. It pushes on my pinkie and middle finger more than my wedding band (band on left hand, gear ring on right). It's not terrible, and my fingers are pretty much used to it.
Water isn't a problem for it; mine has been through showers and washing dishes and spins freely just like it did Christmas day.
I'd say they're well worth the money.
